Norman Richard Ress, age 84, of Faribault, passed away on May 15, 2022, at Allina Health Faribault Medical Center. Graveside services at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 1:00 pm. Norman was born on April 16, 1938, to Alfred and Teresa (Stone) in Faribault. He attended Faribault Senior High. Norman held various jobs, Treasure Cave for 35 years, HyVee and Mystic Lake Casino as custodians. Norman enjoyed fishing, country music and watching movies. Norman is survived by his children, Steve Ress and Tammy Ress; grandchildren, Jason and Daniel; siblings, Marlene Ress, Delores (and Les) Schneider and Elaine (and Leon) Dibble. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Teresa Ress; wife, Beverly Barnett; daughter, Cheryl Sheehan; siblings, Raymond Ress, Donald Ress, Harold Ress, Marvin Ress and Dorothy Voegele.
