<span style="font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Ricky James Hendee, age 70, of Stuart, Florida and formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away on May 12, 2022 at Treasure Coast Hospice after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.</span> <div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 16px; line-height: inherit; font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: baseline;">Rick was born in Toledo to Robert and Betty Hendee. He graduated from Whitmer High School and attended the University of Toledo.</div> <div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 16px; line-height: inherit; font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: baseline;">Rick was a former owner of Telegraph Brake Service in Toledo. He had a passion for softball and played on many teams in Ohio and Florida. Rick was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying Ohio State and NASCAR.</div> <div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 16px; line-height: inherit; font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: baseline;">Rick is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kimberly Hendee, his daughter Michelle (Theron Toney), granddaughter Mya, sister-in-law Brenda Bennett (Phillip), and nephews Christopher, Matthew, and Ryan Bennett. He was a treasured friend to many and always found good qualities in everyone he met.</div> <div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 16px; line-height: inherit; font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: baseline;">A visitation will be held at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit Street, Toledo on Saturday, May 21 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with graveside services following at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.</div> <div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 16px; line-height: inherit; font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: baseline;">A visitation was also held at Aycock Funeral Home, Young &amp; Prill Chapel, Stuart, FL.</div> <div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-variant-numeric: inherit; font-variant-east-asian: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 16px; line-height: inherit; font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif; vertical-align: baseline;">The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
