<p>Stephen Ray Lansford passed away May 14, 2022, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.&nbsp;</p> <p>Stephen was born on November 29, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Gordon and Fern Lansford.</p> <p>Stephen and Vicki were married in Kimball, Idaho, on April 9, 1982. Together, they have one daughter, Melissa, and two grandchildren, Alastair and Ember. Stephen had a son, Michael, from a previous marriage, who gave him a granddaughter, Mia.</p> <p>Steve worked construction for the majority of his life. He is a veteran of the United States Navy who proudly served in Vietnam.</p> <p>Steve&rsquo;s biggest enjoyment in life was spending time with his large extended family. He was &ldquo;Unkie&rdquo; or&nbsp;&ldquo;Papa Steve&rdquo; to all of the nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He enjoyed spending time in the wilderness camping and fishing.</p> <p>He was a kind and gentle guy. There was never a stranger to Steve. He became friends with everyone he met. He will be truly missed by everyone.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lansford and daughter, Kennedy (Melissa) Lansford, both of Idaho Falls; grandson, Alastair Lansford of Idaho Falls; two granddaughters, Ember Lansford of Idaho Falls&nbsp;and Mia Lansford of Blue Springs, MO; brother, Gordon (Phyllis) Lansford of Topeka, KS; 8 nephews, 9 nieces, 16 great nephews, and 9 great nieces.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Fern Lansford;&nbsp;son, Michael Lansford;&nbsp;and one nephew.</p> <p>There will be military honors held for Stephen at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will spread Steve&rsquo;s cremains in Island Park later in July.&nbsp;A dinner will be held with time a place to be determined.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Stephen Ray Lansford passed away May 14, 2022, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. 

Stephen was born on November 29, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Gordon and Fern Lansford.
