Donna J. Chasteen 75, of Decatur, IL passed away at 2:36 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2022, in St. Mary’s Hospital. In keeping with Donna’s wishes no services will be held and cremation rites will occur. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family. Memorials may be made in Donna’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the Parkinson’s Foundation. Donna was born April 20, 1947, in Centralia, IL and was raised by Donald and Violet (Day) Belcher. She married Bill Chasteen on February 21, 1964. He preceded her in death on September 3, 2017. Donna had retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Surviving is her son: Donald Chasteen of Moweaqua, IL; daughter Melissa “Missy” Hoffman of Moweaqua, IL; sister: Bonnie Bond; granddaughter: Torey; and great-grandson: Brody. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son-in-law: Frank Hoffman.
