<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 80%;"><span style="font-family: Almendra;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Ms. Venola Perteet went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2022. She was born on December 10, 1933, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to Nathan Campbell and Susie Love-Campbell.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 80%;"><span style="font-family: Almendra;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Ms. Venola was blessed with 3 children, Robert, Ronald, and Linda, while living in Chicago, Illinois. Later she would move the family to Lansing, Michigan in order to be closer to her family support system. Venola worked as an Environmental Services Technician at Michigan State University for over 40 years.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 80%;"><span style="font-family: Almendra;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Robert Perteet, Ronald Perteet, and Linda Peterson; grandchildren, Michelle Perteet, Alando Chappell, Angela Manns, Mary Peterson, Djoser Userkaf (John Peterson), Gabriel Perteet, and Raefield Perteet; siblings, L.C. Campbell of Mississippi, Lou Porter and Lena Reynolds of Jackson, Michigan, Juanita Thornton of Denver, Colorado; and many beautiful grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 80%;"><span style="font-family: Almendra;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Proceeding her in death, both parents, Nathan and Susie Love-Campbell; and three sisters, Ruth Mae Brown, Willie Jean Thorton, and Zenola Darby.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <div style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</div>

Obituary

Ms. Venola Perteet went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2022. She was born on December 10, 1933, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to Nathan Campbell and Susie Love-Campbell.

Ms. Venola was blessed with 3 children, Robert, Ronald, and Linda, while living in Chicago, Illinois. Later she would move the family to Lansing, Michigan in order to be closer to her family support system. Venola worked as an Environmental Services Technician at Michigan State University for over 40 years.
