Mr. Bryan Scott Koch Obituary

Mr. Bryan Scott Koch, 59, of Mahoning Township, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, May 15th at St. Luke’s Hospital-Carbon. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Carrigan) Koch. They were married for 33 years this past April 15th, 2022. Born in Allentown, Pa. on Sunday, January 27, 1963, he was a son of the late Robert & Barbara (Beers) Koch. After high school graduation, he served our country with the US Army with the 10th Cavalry in Germany attaining the Rank of SP4. Prior to his retirement in 2018, he was employed by the Carbon County Prison as a correctional officer and held a membership with Teamsters Local 773. Bryan held Life memberships at the Lehigh Fire Co. #1, and The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183, and held social memberships at Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club, East Penn Sporting Club, & The Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Co. He was an avid animal lover, Golfer, Hunter and enjoyed watching Penn State, Philadelphia Eagles & Philadelphia Phillies sports teams. Surviving in addition to his wife is a brother, Ricky W. Koch of Lehighton, a sister, Susan E. Dunbar of Lansford, a niece, Nicole (Koch) Barlip & husband Donald Barlip of Allentown, aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces & nephews. A Memorial Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will be announced in the future.
