Patrick John Ward, 71, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. He was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of the Ironbound. Patrick was a Truck Driver for Delisa Pallet in Newark since the early 90’s retiring in 2021. Previously, he worked for Beacon Cabinet. Patrick was a homebody and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was avid New York Mets fan, loved Horse Racing and watching Hallmark movies, Columbo and Indiana Jones. Son of the late Vincent and Marie (nee Salimbene) Ward; beloved husband of 42 years of Antoinette “Toni” (nee Verdi) Ward; devoted and loving father of Christina Ward and her wife Stacey and Deanne Curley and her husband Thomas; cherished grandfather of Mackenzie; dear brother of Vincent Ward and the late Francis Ward. The wake for Patrick will be held on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 from 5- 8 pm at the Buyus Funeral Home 426 Lafayette St., at Wilson Ave., Newark, NJ 07105. All are welcome to attend. Cremation Private
