Mr. Willie Rae Jackson Sr. passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Temple Church of God by Faith, 707 W. Fort King Street, Ocala, FL 34471 with Elder James Ware, Officiating. MASK RECOMMENDED.

Willie was a native of Wildwood, FL, and a resident of Tampa, FL for 35 years. He attended Howard High School and was a member of the Elks Club. He retired as a Police Officer at the Gainesville Police Department.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Jeffery Jackson (Trevena) of Ocala, FL; Willie Jackson Texas, Kenny Hargrove of Ocala, FL, Tony Mitchell (Angela) of Seffner, FL; bonus son, Maurice Porter of Ocala, FL; daughters, Gayle Taylor of Ocala, FL, Terry Jones of Belleview, FL, Jennifer Williams of Tallahassee, FL, Regina Mitchell of Orlando, FL, DeeDee Staten of Gainesville, FL, and Lekesha Grant of Gainesville, FL; 29 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.  MASK RECOMMENDED.
