Mrs. Helen Mazan Davis, 97, died Sunday, May 15, 2022, in the Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Lakewood, New Jersey.

On Thursday, May 19^th. at 10:00AM, family and friends will gather in the parking lot of the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street in Linden. We will then form the traditional procession to escort Mrs. Davis to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.  The prayers of committal at 10:30AM will precede her burial, alongside her husband in the family plot.

Mrs. Davis, the daughter of the late Katherine Mazur Mazan and the late Thomas Mazan was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  She resided in Linden, New Jersey from 1955 until 2001 when she relocated to Toms River, New Jersey. 

Mrs. Davis was very gifted with her hands, as she loved to crochet and make different articles for both her family, friends and neighbors.  She thoroughly enjoyed dining out and made sure to include a few trips to Atlantic City to test her luck.  Her weekends were always filled with stops at garage sales, flea markets or any place that would enable her to search for antiques.  If you wanted to really make her smile, just give Mrs. Davis a 3000-piece puzzle to work on.   

Predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Davis (1997) and her three siblings, Frank Mazan, Joseph Mazan and Jean Mazan, Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter Nancy H. Poole and her granddaughter, Wendy A. Poole.  As a family, we will miss her dearly, but we also know that she is now at peace and reunited with all her family that went before her.
