<p>Alfred J. (Chub) Hoehn, age 98, of Faribault, MN passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Mill City Senior Living in Faribault.</p> <p>Alfred Joseph was born on April 7, 1924, in Madison Lake, MN, to Louis and Mary (Blaha) Hoehn.&nbsp; He attended school at All Saints Catholic School in Madison Lake.&nbsp; Alfred was united in marriage to Shirley Heljeson on April 3, 1945, at All Saints Catholic Church.&nbsp; He worked at the Madison Lake Hatchery for 14 years and Hubbard Milling Company for 30 years.&nbsp; During this time, he also cared for his hobby farm.&nbsp; Alfred enjoyed deer hunting, snowmobiling, golfing, and traveling vacations on the road with Shirley.&nbsp; He also cherished the time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.</p> <p>He is survived by his children, James Hoehn (Patricia) of Madison Lake, MN, Myrna Ostermann Podlogar (David) of Faribault, and Bradley Hoehn (Gary Goldberg) of Mankato, MN; seven grandchildren, James Hoehn, Melissa Donkers (Scott), Matthew Hoehn, Lucas Ostermann (April), Jessica Guillemette (Kevin), Megan Ostermann, and Sebastian Hoehn; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Richard Hoehn (Alice); and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; parents, Louis and Mary; granddaughter, Kim Hoehn; son-in-law, Everett Ostermann; three brothers and one sister, and their spouses.</p> <p>Private family services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake and burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Madison Lake.</p> <p>Memorials may be directed to Calvary Cemetery Memorial Fund, or Brighton Hospice in memory of Alfred, and may be sent to the family in care of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, MN&nbsp; 55021.</p>
