Margaret Elaine Gilbert

1933 - 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elaine Gilbert on May 14th, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

Elaine was predeceased by her parents; 2 sisters, Edith and Eva; husband Leonard in 2006; grand daughter Stacey in 2013; and her son in law Les in 2021.  Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her sister Edna (Steve); daughters, Jo Ann, Gerry (Gordon), Lennie (Jim) and Sandy; grandchildren, Denise (Caleb), Jackie (Todd), Roberta (Jody), Dallas (Ken), Dawnalee (Javier), Kristen (Nick), Trish, Ryan, Russell (Amanda), Jayden, Shae-lynn (Brayden) and Jared (Emily); 22 great grand children; 1 great great grandson; her numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  

Elaine always made room for anyone at her kitchen table for a home cooked meal and a cup of coffee. And if you joined her in a game of cards, she was overjoyed!

She touched the hearts of many! Too many to mention!  She was a special wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, great great grandma, sister, aunt and friend. 

As per her wishes, there will not be a funeral. A graveside service will be held at the Bentley Cemetery on Sunday August 07, 2022 at 4:00 pm.
