Mr. Raymond Edgar Lemaster age 76 of Soldier, Kentucky passed away, Saturday, May 14, 2022 at St Claire Healthcare in Morehead, Kentucky. He was born August 28, 1945 in Carter County, Kentucky a son of the late Henry and Della Crisp Lemaster. Raymond proudly served his country in Vietnam. He attended Holly Fork Freewill Baptist Church. He loved listening to bluegrass music, doing Military Services, loafing and spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and loved hugs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Lemaster, Coy Lemaster and Delbert Lemaster; four sisters, Ethel Eden, Nellie Burton, Naomi Stinson and Jane Lemaster. He is survived by one sister, Dotsie Goodan (Raymond) of Olive Hill, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Monroe Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Lemaster Cemetery on Goodman Cemetery Road. Military Honors will be conducted at the grave site by Olive Hill American Legion Post 138. Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 17277 West Highway US 60 in Olive Hill, Kentucky and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 until the service hour at the funeral home. Jeff Goodan, Rich Goodan, Timmy Cole, Lonnie Cole, Larry Lemaster, Ronnie Royse and Brent Stinson will serve as pallbearers. Raymond’s nieces will serve as honorary pallbearers.
