Terry L. Haddock

Mr. Terry L. Haddock, 73, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:30 AM at Pinewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 11 AM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Terry, a native of the Clay Root community, was a son of William Augustus and Doris Cox Haddock. He was a graduate of Chicod School and served in the U.S. Navy for four years during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he returned home and soon married Jo Ann Pollard and they made their home in the Belvoir community. Terry was employed at Ernest & Knott Glass Company and later Mercer Glass. He later found his passion in employment with Rock Springs Center, where he worked for more than 20 years, retiring in 2015. Terry, a member of Belvoir FWB Church, was a family man, who loved the outdoors and fishing with the grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by an infant sister and brother, Jeffery Haddock. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jo Ann Pollard Haddock; sons, Steven Durlwood Haddock and wife, Laura, of Belvoir, and Brandon Scott Haddock and wife, Kim, of Stokes; daughter, Wendy Haddock Everette of Belvoir; grandchildren, Dustin Everette, Kyle Everette and wife, Alyssa, Heidi Haddock, Macy Haddock, Abby Haddock, Patrick Everette, Austin Haddock, and Landon Haddock; great-grandson, Adrian Davenport; brothers, Michael Haddock and wife, Carron, of Clay Root, Dennis Haddock and wife, Tina, of Farmville, and Dana Haddock and wife, Cindy of Belvoir; and sister-in-law, Kathy Gray and husband, David, of Belvoir.
