<p><br /> Mary Anne (Franko) Gregory, age 88, passed away peacefully May 15, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born Jan. 17, 1934 in Bridgeport to the late Joseph Franko and Anna Petro Franko. She was a graduate of Harding High School and worked at Sikorsky Aircraft prior to getting married and starting a family. She then worked as a travel agent for many years while raising her family. She lived in Trumbull for 30 years before moving to Monroe in 1996.&nbsp; Mary Anne really enjoyed traveling and vacationing throughout the world, knitting Christmas stockings for everyone,&nbsp; playing bridge, Mah Jongg, ladies luncheons and especially annual family cruises with her children and grandchildren.&nbsp; Mary Anne was a big fan of the New York Mets, New York Giants, UConn Women&rsquo;s Basketball and Fairfield Men&#39;s Basketball. Her primary passion though was her grandchildren. She loved to attend their activities and beamed with pride when shamelessly bragging about them. In her later years when her mobility was limited, nothing brightened her day like a visit from her grandkids.<br /> She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Wesley Gregory, sister Frances Samsel, brothers Joseph Franko and Raymond Franko.&nbsp; &nbsp;She is survived by her three devoted children Beth Yerina and her husband Patrick of Trumbull, Dorothy Miller of Shelton and Dan Gregory and his wife Cathy of Sandy Hook.&nbsp; Also, seven cherished and beloved grandchildren, Ryan (Kaitlyn) and Michael (Jacqueline) Yerina; Casey (Lucas Sagar) and Shane Miller; Brian, Brendan and Catie Gregory, her sisters Pauline Lavin, Dorothy Lavin, Elizabeth Kubicko and Rosalie Andrechak plus many nieces and nephews who fondly referred to her as Aunt Moe.<br /> Mary Anne&rsquo;s family would like to thank her caregivers, Eunice, Maria and Anna, for the devoted love and exceptional care they provided over the past year and a half.&nbsp; Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral mass on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull.&nbsp; To view via livestream go to https://stcathtrumbull.com/ Inurnment to follow in Nichols Village Cemetery. Mary Anne (Franko) Gregory, age 88, passed away peacefully May 15, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born Jan. 17, 1934 in Bridgeport to the late Joseph Franko and Anna Petro Franko.
