<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thomas Martin Dusek, 59, of Lodi, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his recliner at home on Thursday, May 12, 2022 after a lengthy period of declining health.</p> <p>Tom was born on March 9, 1963 in Cleveland to Jerry and Patricia (Browning) Dusek.&nbsp; He graduated from Lima Technical College and was a great mechanic having owned his own automotive repair shop and had also taught mechanics to vocational school students..&nbsp; Tom had made his home in Lafayette prior to moving to Loudonville in 2004. In 2017 he returned to Medina County, making his home in Lodi.&nbsp; Tom loved cars but his greatest joy was his grandkids.</p> <p>Surviving are his children and their spouses, Thomas and Megan Dusek of Ashland, Sara and Keith Blankenship of Bucyrus, Melissa and Robert Plant of Loudonville and Grace and Patrick Fluty of Wadsworth; &nbsp;&nbsp;granddaughters, Evelyn and Kate Blankenship and Ruby Dusek; his mother, Patricia Dusek of Lodi; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe (Jamie) Dusek of Lodi, James (Betty) Dusek of Alabama; sister, Vicki Howe of Florida and his fianc&eacute;, Becky Davis of Lodi who took great care of Tom.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry, grandson, Henry, a brother, Robert and a nephew, Troy.</p> <p>Friends may call Friday, May 20th from 2-4 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where services will be held at 4:00 p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp; Tom would have appreciated instead of flowers, donations to Restore Addiction Recovery, 2650 Sanitarium Rd., Akron, OH 44312.</p>
