Mary Elizabeth Greninger

Mary Elizabeth Greninger of Miami, OK passed from this life Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was 89. Mary was born January 22, 1933 in Vinita, OK to Pryor and Fannie (Tyner) Lewis. She graduated from Afton High School Class of 1951. She had lived in the Miami area most of her life. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Bernice Baptist Church in Bernice, OK. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Roger Greninger, 1 daughter-in-law, Robin Greninger, her parents and 2 brothers, Dallas Lewis and Bill Lewis. Mary is survived by her husband, Lee Roy Greninger of the home, 2 sons, Rick Greninger of Owasso, OK and Randy Greninger and his wife Lisa of Miami, OK, daughter-in-law, Jean Greninger of Miami, OK, 3 sisters, Margie Hudson of Afton, OK, Jean Cook of Fountain Valley, CA and Louise Herrel of Wagoner, OK, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Hudson Creek Baptist Church north of Fairland, OK with Rev. Jerry Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Fairland Cemetery in Fairland, OK with Ricky Greninger, Chris Greninger, Gary Greninger, Jerry Springer, Tony Springer and Steve Springer serving as pallbearers. Brad Herrel and Jesse Waggoner will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK. Online condolences may be made at www.paulthomasfuneralhomes.com.
