Donald A. Scholz

Age 83, of Sheraden, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Beloved husband of Donna (Kunsman) Scholz; loving father of Donald Scholz (Diane), Pam Scholz (Lisa), Margie Beatty (Chuck), and Susie Fontana (TJ); grandfather of Jessica, Don, Lilley, Brandon, Megan, CJ, Patrick, Nickolas, Noelle, Elaina, Abigail, Tomas, Caiti, and Kyle; eight great-grandchildren; brother of the late Patty Herman and Barb Marstellar. 

Don served in the Navy on the USS Miller.  He was an active member of the former Holy Innocents Church and the American Legion Post 496. In 2015 Don and Donna received a proclamation from the City of Pittsburgh recognizing their volunteerism for the Sheraden community.

Family and friends are welcomed TUESDAY from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, 2944 Chartiers Avenue, Sheraden. Funeral mass in Ascension Church of St. Philip Parish, 114 Berry St., Pgh 15205 on Wednesday at 12noon.  Burial with military honors will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 2 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 496.
