Ernst Klemens Berken

IN LOVING MEMORY
BERKEN, Ernst Klemens (Ernie) March 13, 1931 – May 12, 2022
With sadness and comfort, the family wishes to announce the passing of our dear Papa, Opa, Tic Opa, in Chelmsford, Ontario at the age of 91.
He leaves behind his loving wife Barbara , son Ernst (Ernie) Berken, daughter Iris Wells (Bruce). In Germany, step brother Gisbert Berken, step sisters Krista (Manfred), and Mechtild as well as other extended family.
Ernie was predeceased by his parents Bernhart and Mutter Berken, stepmother Emme Berken, Sister Brigitte, stepbrother, Bernard Berken and daughter-in-law Denise Berken.
He was the cherished Grandfather (Opa) to Ryon Wells (Sheena), Barbara Lynn Belanger (Luke), and Great-Grandfather (Tic Opa) to Hannah, Hayden, Hazel and Clem.
Ernie had asked that he be cremated.
