Sidney F. Farley, 78, of Warren, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.  He was born on August 13, 1943 in Marietta, Ohio, the son of Sidney and Doris (Waggoner) Farley.

He proudly served our country in the US Army.

He was united in marriage with Carolyn Taylor on April 16, 2000 in Athens County.

Sidney worked security at Allied Universal.

He was of Christian faith.

In his spare time Sidney enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his four legged friend Noel.

Cherished memories of Sidney will be carried on by his wife Carolyn, his daughter Jonnie Conley of Atwater, Ohio, brother Richard “Dick” Farley of Marietta grandchildren Barbara Starcher, Brandon Miller, step grandchild Johnny Ziats, and six great grandchildren.   

Preceding Sidney in death were his parents, brothers Dave, John and Kenneth Farley, his sister Kay Mayle, and grandchild Timothy Miller.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, May 17, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home of Newton Falls where services with Pastor Alexoff will be held following calling hours.  Sidney will be laid to rest in Hawley Cemetery.
