Rose A. (McMaster) Smith, 88, passed away peacefully at her home, Friday, May 13, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Conway T. Smith, her husband of 58 years.

Rose was born October 3, 1933 in McSherrystown, the daughter of the late George L. and Gertrude (Myers) McMaster.

Rose was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Oxford, and a 1953 graduate of Delone Catholic High School.

Rose is survived by her children, Thomas J. Smith and his wife JoAnn, Jerome P. Smith and his wife Sally, Samuel A. Smith and his wife Ann, John F. Smith and his wife Donna, Douglas E. Smith and his wife Donna, Dennis C. Smith and his wife Deb Harper, Valerie J. McFalls and her husband Patrick all of New Oxford, Debra L. Brandberg and her husband Philip of Carlisle, Mary G. King and her husband Brian of Abbottstown, and daughter-in-law, Andrea Smith of Hanover, fifteen grandchildren, Jenny, Paul, Jeannie, Josh, Rose, Ashley, Laura, Tisha, Mya, Jesse, Erika, Luke, Alexis, Travis and Sara, ten great grandchildren, Jacob, Isabella, Sam, Ariyana, Gideon, Grayson, Elizabeth, Alan, Jackson, and Canaan, six step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, one brother, Frank McMaster of Hanover, and two sisters, Sister Mary Alice McMaster of Wheeling, WV, and Patricia Weaver of Hanover. She was predeceased by one son, Raymond G. Smith, one granddaughter, Chelsea McFalls, two brothers, Edward McMaster and Joseph McMaster, and three sisters, Rita McMaster, Janet McMaster and Ruth Huff.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 10 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle St., New Oxford, with Rev. Keith M. Carroll officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of Greater PA, 2595 Interstate Dr, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA. 17110.
