<p>Graveside services for Mr. Nathaniel Leon Fletcher, 72&nbsp;of Decatur, Alabama will be 11:00AM Saturday May 21, 2022 at Sterrs Cemetery with Rev. Michael Jones officiating. Public viewing will be Wednesday May 18, 2022 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM.&nbsp; Family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 6:30PM&nbsp; Wednesday May 18, 2022 in Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel.&nbsp;&nbsp;Mr. Fletcher&nbsp;transitioned peacefully surrounded by his&nbsp;family on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at his&nbsp;residence.</p> <p>Nathaniel Leon Fletcher was born on September 3, 1949, in Morgan County, Alabama to the late Henry Fletcher, Jr. and Delilah Sawyer Fletcher. He went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2022, while surrounded by his loving family.</p> <p>Nathaniel accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He attended the St. James C. P. Church in American, where the Reverend Dr. Michael Jones serves as pastor. He served in the following capacities: Deacon Board, member of the Sunday school, grounds and security, male chorus and Christian Education.</p> <p>He attended the Morgan County Training School and West Morgan High School, where he played football. His employment included, Prestolite and 3M where he retired with 36 years of service.</p> <p>Deacon Fletcher loved landscaping. When he was able, he helped keeping the grounds of the Church as well as some family members. He never met a stranger. He could always talk on most subjects and enjoyed doing so.</p> <p>He loved his family, especially his mother and those GRANDKIDS and there was almost nothing that he wouldn&rsquo;t do for them.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Henry Fletcher, Sr., and Amanda Sims Dabney; grandson, Jacob Fletcher; brothers, Neal and Mike Pearson.</p> <p>Deacon Fletcher leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Nathaniel Jerome Fletcher (Kriston), Ronald Dwayne Fletcher (Nicole), Fredrick Lee Fletcher (Christel), Keisha Lanier (Corey), Aquarius Bell (Brandon) , Britney Robinson (Jalen); his mother, Delilah Sawyer Fletcher; grandchildren, Jahkese Garth, Justin Hagen, QuAira Orr, &nbsp;Kennedi and Ronald Fletcher, II, Jakobe and Jalen Fletcher, Alexis Rice, Jazmine Reeves and Tralynn Meeks, Adrian and Keirian Bell, Gracelyn Fletcher; brothers, Nathan Fletcher (Tiffany), Harold Pearson (Gloria); sisters, Beverly Gordon (Robert), Vivian Davis, DeBra Perry, Sharon Pearson; aunt, Mable Harris; uncles, Larry and Cortez Fletcher; a host of great-grandchildren; cousins and many friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Nathaniel Leon Fletcher was born on September 3, 1949, in Morgan County, Alabama to the late Henry Fletcher, Jr. and Delilah Sawyer Fletcher. He went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2022, while surrounded by his loving family.

Nathaniel accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He attended the St. James C. P. Church in American, where the Reverend Dr. Michael Jones serves as pastor.
