Remembering and Honoring the Life of Daniel F. Bellemare

WATERBURY – Daniel F. Bellemare, age 55 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 13, 2022.

Daniel was born October 1, 1966, in Waterbury the son of the late Albert and Jacqueline (Bridschge) Bellemare. The youngest of 7 children, he attended Wolcott schools and went on to become an ironworker and talented carpenter.

He was a loving father and brother and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. Dan had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy are his children; Lauren Bellemare of NC, Robert (Bobby) Bellemare of Hamden, and Rachael Bellemare of Wolcott. He also leaves his siblings; Ellen Talbot (Michael) of Oxford, Jacqueline Dawiczyk of Wolcott, William Bellemare of NC, Judith Bellemare, Diane Garafola (Dennis) and Lois Bellemare all of Wolcott and many nieces, nephews and so many friends; and best friend, Cheryl Pecha. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Wendy. His family extends a sincere and special thank you to his treasured doctor’s, He Zhang and Diane Kim and the compassionate staff at Saint Mary’s Hospital.
