Danny Fred Terry, Sr.
<p>Swainsboro,</p> <p>Danny Fred Terry Sr., age 74, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick. He was born in Swainsboro on December 15, 1947 to Fred Wesley and Louise Arnell Lawson Terry and had lived in Emanuel County all of his life. He retired after 29 years of service with the Georgia State Patrol retiring as a Sergeant First Class and also as a Post Commander. He also served 20 years as a paramedic with Emanuel County EMS. Danny was a member of the Swainsboro Exchange Club and was known to be an expert at being a welder, a wood craftsman, a fisherman, hosting fish fries, and most importantly being a great dad, papa, and friend. He attended Hawhammock Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Danny Fred Terry, Jr, brother, Don Terry and Don's wife Susan.</p> <p>He is survived by his son and daughters in law, Wesley and Heather Terry, Dana Terry Horne; grandchildren, Claire, Emma Grayce, Charlotte, Garrett, and Scott Terry, Tori Hopkins and Ashley Morris.</p> <p>Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the Swainsboro City Cemetery.</p> <p>Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Terry family.</p>Obituary
