Tryllis Meek, 85, of Ashland, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at Woodland Oaks Health Care in Ashland.
Tryllis was born April 2, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Walter Clarence and Ruthie Pauline Massie Wilson. Her brother Walter “Jack” Wilson preceded her in death.
Tryllis was a registered nurse with over 50 years of dedicated service in the medical field. She worked for many years at the former Lawrence County General Hospital in Ironton and the Jo-Linn Health Care Center in Ironton. She attended First Baptist Church in Ashland.
Tryllis is survived by her daughter Paula Meek Williams and husband Chuck of Huntington, WV, a brother Art Wilson and wife Nancy of Springfield, OH, very special friends Raymond & Virginia Humphrey of Ashland, one niece and many dear friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Woodland Oaks for the tremendous care that was provided to Tryllis while she was in their care.
A funeral service is planned for 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Pastor Mackey Gaskin. Entombment will follow services.
The family will receive friends prior to services on Wednesday from 11:00am till service time at the Mausoleum Chapel.
