<p>Tryllis Meek, 85, of Ashland, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at Woodland Oaks Health Care in Ashland.<br /> Tryllis was born April 2, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Walter Clarence and Ruthie Pauline Massie Wilson. Her brother Walter &ldquo;Jack&rdquo; Wilson preceded her in death.<br /> Tryllis was a registered nurse with over 50 years of dedicated service in the medical field. She worked for many years at the former Lawrence County General Hospital in Ironton and the Jo-Linn Health Care Center in Ironton. She attended First Baptist Church in Ashland.<br /> Tryllis is survived by her daughter Paula Meek Williams and husband Chuck of Huntington, WV, a brother Art Wilson and wife Nancy of Springfield, OH, very special friends Raymond &amp; Virginia Humphrey of Ashland, one niece and many dear friends.<br /> The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Woodland Oaks for the tremendous care that was provided to Tryllis while she was in their care.<br /> A funeral service is planned for 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Pastor Mackey Gaskin. Entombment will follow services.<br /> The family will receive friends prior to services on Wednesday from 11:00am till service time at the Mausoleum Chapel.<br /> In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Tryllis&rsquo;s honor to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101.<br /> To share a condolence with her family, please visit www.steenfuneralhome.com.</p>
