Scott J. Trustman, age 47 of Detroit and formerly of Saint Clair Shores and New Baltimore passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Detroit. He was born May 30, 1974 the son of Robert H. and JoAnna (Doherty) Trustman in Warren. Scott graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in Marine City and began working in the electrical trade. He joined the IBEW Local Union 58 and worked for Centerline Electric. Scott lived in Saint Clair Shores for a period and moved into Detroit where he’s lived for the last 17 years. He enjoyed the city but also enjoyed visiting his family cottage in Port Austin where he liked the water and boating. He met the love of his life, Karimah Brown and they were married in 2020 in Flint. Scott liked to cook and really enjoyed grilling and smoking foods. He was a hard worker and even at home he was always doing chores, fixing things and improving his environment. Scott is survived by his mother JoAnna Trustman of Romeo, his brother Bob (Suzanne Paisley) Trustman of Ann Arbor and his Pitbull RunDMC, Godparents Jim and Joanne Grant and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Scott is predeceased by his wife Karimah Trustman, father Robert H. Trustman, his grandparents: Louis & Madeline Doherty, Nathan & Jennie Trustman and uncle Kenny Trustman. The Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 3:00-7:00pm with the Funeral Service at 6:00pm all at Muir Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center 296 S. Main St.-Romeo, MI 48065.
