Eduina DaSilva, 94, of East Providence, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. She was the wife of the late Antonio Goulart DaSilva. Born in Faial, Azores, she was a daughter of the late José and Maria Gomes. Mrs. DaSilva enjoyed cooking big meals for her family, making her "Portuguese massa," knitting, quahogging, and clamming with her husband in Jamestown. She was a very devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She leaves four daughters, Madalena DaSilva, Lucia Costa, Maria Lourdes DaSilva, Rosa Maria Griffin, two sons, José Antonio DaSilva, Luis Manuel DaSilva, two sisters, Palmira Faria, Senhorinha Lopes, 16 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren, She was the mother of the late Maria Conceicão DaSilva, and Liduina DaSilva, a sister of the late, Maria DaRosa, Ana Gomes, Amelia Faria, José Gome, Jorge Gomes, Antonio Gomes, Henrique DaSilva, Antonio Gomes,II, Albino Gomes, and Domingos Gomes. Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint Francis Xavier Church, 81 N. Carpenter Street, East Providence. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday, 5-8 PM.
