Rodney Lee Hall Obituary

We will hold you in our hearts until we can walk with you in heaven.

In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Husband, Daddy, and Papa.

Mr. Rodney Lee Hall of Cottonwood went home to be with Lord and Savior May 13th, 2022 in his home with his loving wife Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Hall and his immediate family. He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in October 2018. He has fought this battle for four long years.

Mr. Hall was born July 15, 1948 in Houston County to Roy and Dorothy Hall. Mr. Hall was raised by his loving grandparents, John and Lillie Lee. He was a man of integrity and a man of honesty. A man who was loved by everyone who knew him. He enjoyed his time with his family.

His family spoke on behalf of the legacy he has left and each stated characteristics of Mr. Hall. Mr. Hall was described as a father-figure who was a consistent and committed man in his family’s lives. When it came to his family, he gave an abundance of grace with no limits.

The family would like to thank Dr. Basarakodu with Southeast Cancer Center, Dr. Jarrod Adkinson and Dr. Kenneth Tucker with Southeast Health, as well as Sonia Hughes, Cagney Reeves, Tonya Rodgers and others with Dayspring Hospice. We appreciate the compassion that was given by these individuals to our loved one.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter and son: Kimberly Prevatt, and John Hall (Amber); five grandchildren: Erica Rivenbark (Spencer), John David Prevatt, Adam Prevatt, Michael Prevatt, John William Hall; one great-grandchild: Charles Bryce Rivenbark; mother: Dorothy Hall; three sisters: Barbara Peters (Richard), Terri Michalic (Kevin), Cathy Fitzgerald (Jim); special cousin: Paul Lee (Ellen); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his loving grandparents John and Lillie Lee; father: Roy Hall; uncles: Burl Lee and Millard Lee.

The family will be receiving friends and family at 212 Rusty Drive, Dothan, AL on Saturday and Sunday May 14th and 15th. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
