Wanda Mae Peck

Wanda Mae Peck was born July 26, 1936 in Maypearl Texas to Roy A. and Sarah Ruth Tribble. She was the fourth of eight children. After Wanda’s mother died in Childbirth at a young age, she and her siblings were raised by their grandmother Virgie Mae Tribble in Grandview, Texas. When Wanda got older, she worked in the fiberglass department at Billy Beards Boat Factory in Grandview, Texas. She also worked making electrical components at Harris Electric in Itasca, Texas and later as a CNA at Colonial Manor in Cleburne, Texas. Wanda married and had four children Donald, Diann, Michael, and Tommy. She was a wonderful mother who worked hard to raise her children. Wanda, (Granny, as her grandchildren called her), was a loving, praying grandmother who always wanted God’s best for her family. Granny sang in church on a regular basis and also made a point to dance with her grandchildren and great grandchildren at their weddings.<br><br>In 2006, She and her husband Eddie moved into Buena Vista Senior Community in Cleburne, Texas. She was a well-loved member of the Buena Vista community and was known as a woman who loved the Lord. Even in her last weeks of life you would find Wanda telling everyone about the love she had for her Savior, Jesus Christ, and how important it was to have a personal relationship with God so they could have a place in heaven. <br><br>Wanda collected porcelain dolls, crosses and roosters. Her home was a miniature gallery with lots of wonderful things to look at. She also liked to put together puzzles and play Bingo in the Buena Vista Club House. She also enjoyed scenic drives on sunny days.<br><br>Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Sarah Ruth Tribble, four husbands; Donald Maxwell, Tommy Tuttle, Clois Molloy and Eddie Peck; two brothers; Wallace Stanley Tribble and David Horton Tribble; five sisters; Maureen Fought, Margie Nell Northern, Geneva Tribble, Alline Davis, and Mabline Wells. <br>She is survived by her children, Donald Wayne Maxwell and wife Denise, Diann Prescher and husband Ricky, Michael Maxwell and wife Debbie, Tommy Molloy and wife Geraldine, and her two adopted children, Jody and James Pickett. Wanda is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, Kerry Scarber and husband Chance, Melissa Prescher, Kristopher Maxwell and wife Katie, Kasey Maxwell and wife Alicia, Richard Prescher and wife Tiffany, Rachel Alvarado, Ashley Howard, Michelle Muzzy and husband Nathan, Lacey Humphries, Benjamin McCleary, Cody Molloy and wife Kaylie, Dustin Molloy and wife Shelby, and Kyle Maxwell. Also 25 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. <br>Wanda will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.<br><br><br>Service will be10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00, Monday, May 16, 2022 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kristopher Maxwell, Kasey Maxwell, Kameron Maxwell, Richard Prescher, Matthew Durgin, Cody Molloy and Kyle Maxwell.<br>
