Frank Anthony Cataldo III, 59, of West Des Moines, a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, passed away at his home surrounded by family and friends Friday, May 13, 2022.<br><br>Frank was born to George and Sandra (Beck) and graduated from Dowling High School. After graduating, he attended Grandview before joining the family business, Iowa EPS Products, where he served as Vice President. <br><br>Frank played for the Des Moines Buccaneers hockey team, loved to play golf, and spend his summers fishing at his family cabin in Park Rapids, Minnesota. He was an active member of AA and served as a sponsor, inspiring many and giving back to his community. His greatest joy was being a papa to his 3 granddaughters and 3 grandsons. <br><br>Frank married his high school sweetheart D’Ann Hammond (Gudenkauf) and had one daughter, Maria (David) Andrew. He later remarried and had son Frank, daughter Katie and two adopted daughters Renee and Amber. <br><br>He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra and survived by his father George, two brothers Michael (Karen) and Charles (Gia) and adopted brother Jerry (Denise) Best, in addition to his 5 children, 6 grandchildren, and 7 nieces and nephews.<br><br>Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm, Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Dunn’s Funeral Home. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 11 am followed by a private family burial at Resthaven Cemetery. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations directed to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church or Friends Home Care & Hospice.<br><br>

Frank Anthony Cataldo III, 59, of West Des Moines, a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, passed away at his home surrounded by family and friends Friday, May 13, 2022.
