CHESTER HUSTON<br>NEW BOSTON, Illinois - Chester 'Chet' Huston, 73, of New Boston, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his home.<br><br>Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Ray Oehme will officiate. Burial will take place in New Boston Cemetery. <br><br>Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Tracey Summitt. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com. <br><br>Chet was born on June 2, 1948, in New Boston, the son of Ralph and Caroline Kiel Huston. He married Debra Snyder in 1971, in Muscatine. <br><br>Chet was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1971. He enjoyed casinos, tinkering in the garage, and spending time with his family. <br><br>He is survived by his best friend and casino partner, Deb of New Boston; three children, Tracey Summitt and husband, Tom, of Muscatine, Salli Blaesing and husband, Greg, of Muscatine, and Karen Flores of New Boston; eight grandchildren, Chad, Danielle, Morgan, Megan, Emily, Taylor, Nolan, and Courtney; 14 great grandchildren, Aiden, Addison, Memphis, Emmerson, Charlotte, Elsie, Aurelia, Kalista, Hazel, Eliza, Serinity, Brayden, Olivia, and James; and one sister, Dorothy.<br><br>Chet is preceded in death by his parents, and six siblings, David, Eddie, Robert 'Bob', Howard 'Howdy', Janice, and Linda. <br>
