Annette Kay Lantz

SALINA – Annette Kay (Schultz) Lantz age 59 passed away at her home on May 10, 2022. She was born the daughter of Richard & Nola (Brown) Schultz at the Osborne County Memorial Hospital in Osborne, KS on April 13, 1963. She went to Lucas to school until she was in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade in Luray. She attended High School in Lucas during the time they were in the Russell, KS 407 District. She graduated the class of 1982. After graduation she moved to Salina and worked for Tony’s Pizza Service for 34 years. While growing up she had the love of her dog and loved to ride horses. When her dad wanted to move cattle, he always came and got Annette to help him. She met the love of her life Jerry Lantz and they got married February 25, 1983, in Salina, KS. They resided in Salina for 5 years until they moved outside of Salina where they had lived for 31 years. Jerry and Annette recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. Jerry & Annette spent their time together travelling, enjoying their houseboat, fishing and just spending time together with their pets. She was preceded in death by her brother Larry Schultz; her grandparents Ethel & Walter Brown, Andrew & Rozena Schultz; Parents in law George & Florence Tuggle, Janet Anderson, Dennis Lantz, Roger Lantz, Mike Netahla. Annette is survived by her husband Jerry of the home; her parents Richard & Nola Schultz of Lucas; a brother Lyle Schultz and his wife of Lucas; 2 nephews Skyler & Ryan Schultz; 2 nieces Victoria Schultz & Joanie (Brayden) Galliart of Garden City; brothers in law Gary Lantz of Lucas, Larry Wurzbacher of Atchison; Ray Wurzbacher of Florida; sisters in law Karen (Richard) Nelson of Lucas, Judy Heaton of Lucas, Debbie (Allen) Francis of Anthony.
