Jane Newell, 76, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Chase Nursing Home, New Berlin, NY. She was born on November 19, 1945 in Walton, NY, daughter of Willis & Thelma (Cole) Figary.

On June 29, 1963 she married Henry Newell, Jr. and shared 58 happy years together in Sidney Center, NY.

Jane greatly enjoyed camping at Indian Lake, NY as well as taking beach vacations at Virginia Beach and Ocean City with her family. She took great pride in working as a Licensed Practical Nurse at The Hospital, Sidney, NY for over 25 years before her retirement, she greatly enjoyed taking care of people.

Jane is survived by her husband Henry Newell, two siblings Sylvia Walborn of Horseheads, NY and Elaine (General) Hines of Sidney Center, two daughters, Jacqueline Barnhart of Sidney, Brenda (Eugene) Sundal of Sidney Center, three grandchildren, Shaun Barriger (Heather Smith), Dustin (Carla) Sundal, Alexa Sundal (Olivia Kuss), and five great-grandchildren, Kierrah Barriger, Lindsey Sundal, Reighly Sundal, Madison VanDeusen and Callie Sundal.

Cremation services are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funderal Home of Sidney, NY. There will be no memorial services per Jane's request.
