Janice Claire Allan

January 13, 1960 ~ May 12, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Janice Claire Allan announces her passing on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the age of 62. Janice passed away, with her daughter by her side, at the Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, SK

Janice was born on January 13, 1960 in Regina, SK to Ian and Marilyn Allan (Zerr).

Janice grew up in Prince Albert, SK along with her five siblings. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School and went on to attend post secondary education in Saskatoon, SK.

Janice lived most of her life in Prince Albert, SK with her daughter Aimee, spending a few years later in life residing in Saskatoon to be near her daughter and family.

Janice always enjoyed spending time at Candle Lake with her family and found joy in gardening. However, Janice’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her only grandchild, Zerra June Claire Anderson, her little “butterfly”.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Aimee Allan and her granddaughter Zerra Anderson of Saskatoon SK; siblings and their families: Heather Allan (Gary Ellis) of Calgary AB, Doug (Robyne) Allan of Candle Lake SK, Greg Allan of Weirdale, SK and his children Thomas Allan of Prince Albert SK and Ashlie Allan of Saskatoon SK, David Allan of Weirdale SK and Catherine (Curtis) Kosowan and their children Tyson Kosowan and Carter Kosowan of Weirdale SK. She is also remembered by many beloved extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Marilyn Leona Zerr of Prince Albert SK, and Ian Ferguson Allan of Candle Lake SK.

Celebration of Life in loving memory of Janice Allan will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28 Street West, Prince Albert, SK.
