Lorraine P. Margie

<p>Lorraine (Horvath) Margie, 84, of Wyano, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.&nbsp; She was born July 25, 1937 in Wyano, daughter of the late John and Pearl (Zyla) Horvath.&nbsp; Lorraine was a 1955 graduate of South Huntingdon High School and worked for West Penn Power for eight years.&nbsp; She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and loved baking cookies for her family for the holidays.&nbsp; In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Margie; her brother and sister-in-law, John W. and Mary Ellen Horvath; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Margaret and Alex Kovach, Edward and Sara Margie, Emma and Carl Nalepa, Eleanor and Clayton Beaumont, and Richard and Lillie Margie; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.&nbsp; Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Raymond J. and Jodi Margie; her daughter, Michele A. Margie; her grandson, Brent Margie; her granddaughter, Madison Margie; her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Barb Horvath; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her granddogs, Bella, Bandit and Willow.&nbsp; Friends and family will be received 2-6 pm Sunday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton.&nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Monday at Seven Dolors Church, 102 Center St., Yukon.&nbsp; Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seven Dolors Church, Rostraver/West Newton EMS, Turkeytown Fire Department or Yukon Fire Department.&nbsp; The family wishes to thank the Amedisys Hospice staff for being there for mom and us and the Rostraver/West Newton EMS and the local fire departments every time we needed to take mom to the hospital.&nbsp; Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.</p>
