Jack Emory High, Sr., 87, of Sale City died Friday, May 13, 2022 at his daughter’s residence in Sale City. Private family services will be held. Born December 7, 1934 in Sale City, Mr. High was the son of the late James G. High and Mary Lou Crosby High. He was married to the late Amelia Cannon High and was also preceded in death by a son, Jack E. High, Jr. Mr. High worked for Davidson Plumbing. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah High of Sale City and Cindy Nix (Sean) of Leesburg; one son, Lewis High (Stephanie) of Jackson; one brother, Tony High (Linda) of Sale City; eleven grandchildren, Taylor High, Will High, Kaitlyn Ponder, Rachel High, Alyssa Freels, Kayley Freels, Tyler Moss, Brandon Collins, Stage Collins, Carly Burton, Garrett Burton (Gracie), Adam Nix; and three great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Southern Regency Southerncare Hospice, 143 S. Hwy 319, Suite 1, Moultrie, GA 31768 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
