QUICKNER-JACKSON, GLORIETTE FAY; of Highland; May 13, 2022; age 91; Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Doliver Olaf Quickner and Irma Violet Wistrom. She moved to Michigan at the age of 8 when her parents went to work for General Motors. She graduated from Pontiac High School and started working for Michigan Bell Telephone. She worked there until she retired. She married Eugene Roberts and they had a daughter, Lorraine Roberts. She later married John Gordin Jackson. She was grandmother to Joseph, Jermey and Jerome. She was a great-grandmother of 3 and great, great-grandmother of 2. The Jacksons moved to Highland Township where she was involved in the Senior Center, Meals on Wheels, and for several years a volunteer with the Pioneers. She remained active with the Michigan Bell (AT&T) union. She had many great friends in the area. Gloriette was sister to Doliver Ron Quickner, Warren Norland and Patricia Fields. She enjoyed golfing, reading, sewing and playing shuffleboard at the VFW, but most of all she loved going out for lunch and dinner. She was loved by many and will be missed.
