<p>Diana Newsome Moore, age 59, of McDowell, KY, wife of Basel Ray Moore, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at her residence. &nbsp;She was born March 29, 1963 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late John Milford and Vada Hall Newsome. &nbsp;She was a member of the Ligon Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition to her husband she is survived by one son; Basel Ed Ray (Julia) Moore, McDowell, KY, two daughters; Jessica (Brandon) Spears, Langley, KY and Brandy Dawn (Boo) Moore, McDowell, KY, three brothers; Ricky Newsome, Roy Lee Newsome and Mickey Dean Newsome, all of McDowell, KY, three sisters; Juanita Collins, Prestonsburg, KY, Sandy (Jimmy) Wilhite, Ligon, KY and Linda (Dana) Collins, Menifee Co., KY, eleven grandchildren; Vada, Gavin, Dravin, Carissa, James Basel Tyler, Cheyenne, Kaylin&nbsp;Marie Nicole, Isabella Diana, Lukas Ray, Justin and Dakota, two&nbsp;sisters-in-law; Erma Newsome and Norma Newsome, a host of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; LeRoy Newsome, Rudolph &quot;Boochie&quot; Newsome, Monroe Newsome and Larry Newsome.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Little Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church (NSA) with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. &nbsp;Burial will follow in the Burton Cemetery, Ligon, KY, visitation is after 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.</p>

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Little Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church (NSA) with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Burton Cemetery, Ligon, KY, visitation is after 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
