Giuseppe "Joe" Tufano

Giuseppe “Joe” Tufano, 90, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Anna M. (Gazerro). Born in Roccamonfina, Italy, a son of the late Ernesto and Olinda (Pieterantonio) Tufano. Mr. Tufano was a tailor for over 70 years and worked at the former Kennedy’s Clothing in Garden City. He came to America at the age of 18, lived in North Providence for 48 years before moving to Pascoag in 2012. His family meant the world to him and he took pride in his profession as a tailor. He enjoyed traveling to visit his family and loved gardening. In addition to his wife Anna, he is survived by his sons Robert E. Tufano (Dawn) of Pascoag, and Anthony J. Tufano (Annette) of North Providence. He was the grandfather of Pamela Tufano, Joseph Tufano, Rachel Tufano, Robert Tufano, Jr., and Nicole Tufano. He was the great-grandfather of Callie McLeod and the brother of the late Anna Cardillo and Olga Cianci. His Funeral and Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 8am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Home, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Joseph Church, Sayles Ave., Pascoag. Graveside Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations to Insight, 43 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick, RI 02888, will be appreciated.
