Penny Bachman

Penny A. Bachman, 58, of Perry Twp., passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in St. Luke's Geisinger Medical Center, Orwigsburg. <br><br>Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Kermit R. and Arlene M. (Yoh) Bachman. She graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1980. Penny worked as a sewing machine operator for 20+ years, later working at Sam's Club as a photo lab technician for 15 years, and was currently employed at Redner's Warehouse Markets in the produce department. She enjoyed reading books, playing games, and casinos. She loved to go out to eat, and camp, and she was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies. Penny appreciated butterflies, country music and was especially fond of the color purple. She was a strong-headed, unique person whom everyone loved.<br><br>She is survived by her siblings: Elaine Bachman, Brenda wife of Mark Jones, Jean Hafer, Robert Bachman, Gary husband of Cheryl Bachman, Brian, husband of Lauren Bachman, and Eugene Bachman; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings: Tammy, Sarah, and Elwood. <br><br>Funeral Services will be held tomorrow, Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th StreetHamburg (Off-street parking in rear).
