Cathleen Roberson-Creamer Obituary

Cathleen Roberson-Creamer

1958 - 2022

Cathleen Roberson-Creamer, beloved Mother and Mimi, went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2022.

On November 23, 1958 in Dallas, Texas, Cathleen was born to her parents, Ludie Joe and Bobbie Nell Clark Roberson.  Her heart grew the day she became a mother.  Cathy was seldom seen without her phone and a Pepsi by her side.  She could spend hours talking with her prayer partners and her Aunt Loisie.

Prior to her illness, Cathy enjoyed being outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and working in her yard.

Cathy dedicated her life to raising her children.  She later was promoted to Mimi, filling her heart with so much joy.  Cathy adored spending time with each of them, and when she wasn’t with them, she often was found telling stories about them to anyone that would listen. If you were to ask her grandchildren what they will always remember about their Mimi, it would be that they were her pride and joy and each of them were her favorite.  Cathy considered her greatest gift in life was being a mother and Mimi.

As much as she adored her family, her Lord was always first in her heart. She was a devout Christian, and never failed to be a testimony to anyone she could share her story with.  Cathy spread the Lord’s love to everyone around her and wanted to make sure each person she came in contact with knew the love of her Lord. No matter the time of day, she was only a call away for anyone who may need her. Cathy could get a prayer chain going any time of day or night.

Cathy made an impact on each person’s life, including the hospital staff who could remember her quirky request each hospital visit without even needing to ask.  She was someone who could not and will never be forgotten.

Cathleen has been reunited with her beloved husband, Billy Joe Creamer Jr.; parents, Bobbie Nell Roberson and Ludie Joe Roberson; and brother, Bobbie Joe Roberson, in God’s Eternal Kingdom.

She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her daughters, Catherine Joe Wiggins and husband, Jason, and Jodie Lynn Johnston and husband, Brad; sons, Billy Joe Creamer III and wife, Latisha, and Christian Wayne Creamer; grandchildren, Michael Devin Wiggins, Brayden Scott Johnston, Billy Joe (Joey) Creamer IV, Mason Levi Wiggins, Grayson Layne Minyard, Matthew Avery Wiggins, Chase Alan Creamer and Shelbie Lynn Johnston; adopted grand-girls, Bryanna Fraikes, Kyler Jackson, and Randi Jernigan; second mother, Janet Roberson; sisters, Linda Roberson and Deanie Christy; brothers, Coye Pointer and Clint Jenkins; aunt, Lois Beadle; her faithful dog, Gizmo who never left her side; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Saginaw Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM.
