Chelsea Ward Scully

Chelsea Ward Scully, 29, of Newton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 9, 2022 in Jacksonville, NC. She was born January 1, 1993 in Catawba County to Kelvin W. Ward and Nina Bennett. Chelsea attended Maiden High School and enjoyed fishing, listening to music, drawing and spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Woody Ward and maternal grandparents, Geneva and Harry Bennett. Those left to cherish her memory are; Father: Kelvin Ward of Newton Mother: Nina Bennett of Conover Brothers: Caleb Ward of Newton Jordan Ward of Maiden Paternal Grandmother: Janet Ward of Newton A memorial service to celebrate Chelsea’s life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton. Rev. Tommy Young will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at Bennett Funeral Service.
