Vivian R. (Gibson) Stewart, 86, of Enfield, loving wife of 54 years to the late Richard E. Stewart, entered into eternal rest, on Thursday May 12, 2022. Vivian was born in Manchester, CT the daughter of the late David and Eleanor (Davidson) Gibson and resided in Enfield for the past 60 years. Vivian was a graduate of Manchester High School. Prior to retiring Vivian was employed with the State of CT Dept. of Corrections as secretary to the Special Offenders Program. <br>She was a loyal fan of the UCONN Huskies Women’s Basketball team. She was a member of the Hazardville United Methodist Church, and Red Hat Society. Vivian enjoyed traveling, painting, sewing, baking & cooking, and had a passion for flowers & children. She always saw the beauty in everything. She leaves a beautiful legacy of love, connections and contributions. Vivian enjoyed life. <br>Vivian is survived by her three loving children; Deborah (Stewart) Ferrari of Enfield, Daniel Stewart & Anna Cashman of Ellington, and Kimberly (Stewart) Garrity & Roger Smith of Stafford; her four beloved grandchildren; Michael Stewart (Niina), Jennifer Benson (Eric), Anthony Ferrari (Stephanie), and Joseph Ferrari and four cherished great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son Richard E. Stewart, Jr. a sister Beverly Johnson, and a brother Andrew Gibson. The family wishes to thank everyone at Masonic Hospice for their loving care, compassion and kindness. <br>Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 with the procession forming at 10:00 am for a Prayer Service at the funeral home at 11:00 am with Rev. David Williams officiating, followed by interment in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. <br>Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Hazardville United Methodist Church (HUMC), 330 Hazard Ave. Enfield, CT 06082 or the Alzheimer’s Association, CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd., 4B Southington, CT 06489-1058. <br>June 5, 1935 - May 12, 202206/05/193505/12/2022
