He was born on Wednesday March 2, 1960 in Blue Springs, Missouri, the son of the late John and Jaquelene (née Walker) Keith, Sr. He worked as an advertising representative for KMZU for many years. He also worked as a dispatcher for Jackson County Sheriff's department in Blue Springs.
His hobbies included DJ'ing, antiquing and spending time with his precious pup.

• Glenna (Brad) Lantz, sister, of Buckner, Missouri
• Jefferson (Heidi) Keith, brother, of Grain Valley, Missouri
• Jacque Keith, brother, of Henrietta, Missouri
• John Keith, III, son, of Texas
• Blake Keith, son, of Grandview, Missouri
