Coulson. Rose (nee Colasimone)
February 26, 1923 -May 10, 2022
In cherished memory of Rose Coulson, 99 years young, who peacefully slipped away May 10th, 2022, with her loving, devoted daughters by her side.
Beloved wife of Gregg Coulson (predeceased 2008). Loving mother of Sandra Coulson, (predeceased 2008), Brenda Coulson (Jim Mayer), and Wendy Briscoe. Devoted grandmother of Jaime Wagner (Cory) and Jodi MacDonald (Mark). Loving Noni to Payton. Cayden, Bowen, Carter, and Brady.
Dear daughter of John and Francesca Colasimone and stepdaughter to Matilda Colasimone (predeceased). Rose outlived each of her five siblings. The strong bonds of love they had for each other made each loss hard on her. Rose was predeceased by; Nina Sbrega, Guido Colasimone, Eda Fitzimmons, Henry Colasimone and Julie Christopher. Aunt Rose made a real effort over the years to get to know each of her many nieces and nephews - she will be missed by them.
Rose was born and raised in Capreol and although she loved to travel, she was proud to call Capreol her home. She was well known and respected for having a heart for others, helping where she could and for her unconditional generosity. Those who visited her home always felt welcome, enjoyed her fine hospitality, and never left hungry.
Rose knew the value of having a good time, while making memories. She loved to laugh and always had a good time with her partners-in-crime, Betty, Julie, Eda, Dellie and Virg who enjoyed what they called their “shopping excursions,” …. where it was known that very little shopping ever happened! Rose treasured her many visits and extensive travelling with her cousin Teresa, and they never stopped laughing.

Although Rose had a strong will to live, she is now united with Gregg, the love of her life, and Sandra, the first to make her a mother.

Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer. Visitation – Monday, May 16, 2022 – 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 and Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 10:00 until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
