Son of Cécile (née Chénier) and the late Rhéal “Red” Rivest. Dear brother of Danny (Claudette) and Liette Haert (Wayne). Son-in-law of Jean-Claude (Anita) Bradley. Brother-in-law of Marcel (Sophie) and Gisèle (Richard). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. André was proud of serving the constituents of Ward 6 for 18 years. He was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Local 5005. He was a self-taught rag time, honky-tonk piano player. Due to the pandemic, a private family graveside gathering will be held.
