Carolyn Jane Meinhardt, 87, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 4:43 AM at Savannah Heights in Mt. Pleasant. She was born on May 20, 1934 in Fairfield, IA to Carrol and Lucinda Jones Rinabarger. She married Marlin Meinhardt and they later divorced. Carolyn did clerical work for Principle Financial in Des Moines. She enjoyed watching TV, listening to old country western music and was an avid Cubs fan. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Webster of Des Moines; one sister, Joanne Gregory of Ft. Madison; two nephews, Curtis Gregory of Vernon Hills, IL and Stanley Gregory of Ft. Madison; three half siblings, Nina, Marie and Frank. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald. Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory and a burial will take place at a later date in Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua.
