Marcelle A. Yonkin
<p>Marcelle A. (Handwerk) Yonkin,78, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Pleasant Ridge Manor. </p> <p>Marcelle was born September 20, 1943, in Wellsboro PA, a daughter of the late Virgil F. and Bertha (Brion) Handwerk.</p> <p>She graduated from Galeton High School in 1961 and attended Williamsport Community College. She moved to Erie County in 1964 and has resided here since. She went to work at WQLN in Erie as a programming assistant and she also worked for the Quinn Law Firm. Her hobbies included bird watching, quilting and she was an avid reader. <br /> <br /> She will be greatly missed by her family which include three sons, Timothy E. Yonkin of Girard, Scott R. Yonkin of Edinboro, and Eric S. Yonkin and his wife, Kirsten of Clearwater, FL; her sisters, Sharon Harris of Martinsburg, WV, Jean Handwerk of Colville, WA, Mary Carpenter of Ft. Myers, FL and Joanne Lennox of Erie; her brother, John Handwerk and his wife, Terri of Williamsport, PA; her grandchildren, Jacob, Danielle, Zackary, Savannah, Henry and Thaddeus; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edder Funeral Home Inc. <br /> To send condolences visit edderfuneralhome.com</p>September 20, 1943 - May 10, 202209/20/194305/10/2022
