Arlene Dodson, age 62, died from COVID on May 9, 2022 at the Alaska Native Medical Center. She was born on May 12, 1959 in Anchorage. Oscar Munson III, age 68, died November 30 2019 at the Alaska Native Medical Center after a long illness. Oscar was born July 17, 1951 in Anchorage. A service will be held at Kehl's Palmer Mortuary on May 16, 2022. Visitation will begin at noon with a service to follow at 1:00 pm. Both Arlene and Oscar, brother and sister, were residents of Anchorage at the time of their deaths. They were preceded in death by their parents, Helen and Oscar Munson, Jr., brother David and Robert Munson. Survivors include sisters; Mary Shepler, Carol Munson, June Montgomery and Ruby Munson. Numerous nieces and nephews also love and miss their Uncle and Auntie. "The family would like to sincerely thank the many people who assisted and cared for Arlene and Oscar over the years."
