Randall T. Richter

On May 10, 2022, Randall (Randy) T. Richter, age 66, passed away peacefully at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by his family.<br><br>Randy was born in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Thomas J. and Audrey Collins Richter, and is survived by his wife, Kim, daughter, Jacqui, son, Chris, daughter-in-law, Meghan, and a community of close family and friends.<br><br>Starting in 1973, Randy attended the University of Delaware where he met Kim, his wife of 43 years, and his love for singing and playing guitar became apparent after joining the musical group “Friends.” Randy later graduated from Penn State University before his 40-year-long career in landscape architecture and land planning. <br><br>Those who were blessed with the opportunity to know Randy could see that he filled his life with the things he loved – travel, golf, music, his family, and building new friendships.<br><br>Randy instilled his love for music with his daughter Jacqui and shared his talents with his church family as a member of the choir. As an avid golfer, Randy enjoyed spending time playing with his son, Chris, at Doylestown Country Club, where he also served on their Board as the Chair of the Greens Committee. Upon retirement, Randy and Kim were able to travel broadly, enjoying trips to Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, while spending the winters at their home in Mesa, Arizona.<br><br>Visitation with the family will be at Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington PA on Tuesday, May 17, from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held at Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church, 1401 Meetinghouse Road, Warminster, PA at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:<br>Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church, at the above address (Please indicate in memory of Randy Richter)<br>Mayo Clinic (Under “Designate My Gift To” please select “Other” and type “Mayo Clinic Arizona” and check “Make this Donation a Tribute” and indicate the gift is in memory of Randall Richter) https://philanthropy.mayoclinic.org/donateMC<br>The First Tee of Greater Philadelphia, https://app.etapestry.com/onlineforms/TheFirstTeeofGreaterPhiladelp/donate.html<br><br>

Randy I miss u so much already buddy. I can’t imagine a summer at DCC without u. Thanks for all fun times we had in Arizona over the years. I’ll never forget our favorite saying to each other. This doesn’t suck , does it. RIP buddy.
