After completing courses at Kansas</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">City Junior College, Elliott moved to Detroit, Michigan.&nbsp; He returned to Kansas City and became an employee with United States Postal </span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Service as a mail handler machine operator until his retirement in December 2020.&nbsp;</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Eleanor Swain, his brother, Frederick C. Swain and his son Dante Wynn.&nbsp; He is</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">survived by his twin Sister, Eleanor Ann Swain Smith, his sister, Iralene (Salima) Swain, Pastor Ronald P. Smith, nephew, Jeanine N. </span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Smith, niece and Iman B. Swain, nephew as well as eight grand-nieces and nephews, four great-grand nieces and nephews and a host </span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">of Cousins and dear friends.</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">The family wishes to extend their heart felt appreciation and gratitude to all of our family and friends for their prayers and loving support </span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">during Elliott&rsquo;s illness and through this time of grief. Life Reflection

Elliott Lee Swain passed away on May 10, 2022.  He was born on March 5,1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to Ira Lee and Eleanor Helen

Jones Swain.  Elliott grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Sumner High School Class of 1966. After completing courses at Kansas

City Junior College, Elliott moved to Detroit, Michigan.  He returned to Kansas City and became an employee with United States Postal

Service as a mail handler machine operator until his retirement in December 2020. 

Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Eleanor Swain, his brother, Frederick C. Swain and his son Dante Wynn.  He is

survived by his twin Sister, Eleanor Ann Swain Smith, his sister, Iralene (Salima) Swain, Pastor Ronald P. Smith, nephew, Jeanine N.

Smith, niece and Iman B. Swain, nephew as well as eight grand-nieces and nephews, four great-grand nieces and nephews and a host

of Cousins and dear friends.

The family wishes to extend their heart felt appreciation and gratitude to all of our family and friends for their prayers and loving support
